Did ou want to use ADB for debugging? Just search "minimal adb and fastboot" on google, and download. Its light and easy to install.

Download the old os ROM. Replace the boot.img with the one from your phones backup. Then plug in your phone with mtk droid tools loaded. Click on block maps, and view the partition blocks... 'mmcblk0p...
