Custom Kernel Trouble
Custom Kernel Trouble
(09-09-2014, 12:12 PM)mehediabedin Hi, I am Mehedi Abedin from Bangladesh. I have Symphony Xplorer W65i android smartphone (MTK MT6572). I want to make custom kernel form my mt6572 phone. I got two flashable zip named 'OTG MOD.ZIP' & 'OTG FIX.ZIP' for MTK MT6572. but it's for other mt6572 device. So my question is how to change the two zip files for my device?

(16-09-2014, 10:23 AM)androgen Hi. Did you have access to the source code for your phone? or you could upload the zImage ram disk or just upload your boot.img file. I could help you do something about it.

It appears the main tweaking occurred @ m4u.ko and boot.img . OTG fix.zip is probably a patch. 'OTG MOD.ZIP' is the flashable custom kernel itself I presume . Did you attempt flashing this file at all?
