MTK NVRAM Erasing and Flashing
(03-08-2022, 10:49 AM)testingobject33 Does anyone knows how to erase current NVRAM/Baseband of Phone. I want to flash other phone's nvram database baseband file for testing purpose.
Currently Modem Meta tool or Maui Meta tool only allowing edited values to be written to phone via nvram editor but i am not able to edit values of other phone baseband file(because firstly tool need to read values from phone then only it can show options to write), so ultimately tool not allowing me write unmodified content to phone.
My sole aim is just to flash other phone's baseband by any means or tool. Please help in that.
Phone is Gionee S5.1 with MT6592

You can format the nvram partion using SP Flash tool.
Firstly backup firmware using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-21970.html

(03-08-2022, 01:20 PM)testingobject33 I have already tried erasing nvram with sp flash tool and i got success message also but in Meta tool(nvram editor option) i can see phone still retained all nvram/baseband details and Meta tool successfully reading all code lines with hex values from phone.
If there is any other way please let me know.
