[Please help] Cherry Mobile Flare S7 Readback stucked at 0%
(07-01-2019, 08:05 PM)sherlockedprince I did pretty much everything to create a full rom dump, and all I was to do a readback. However, after trying so, I faeed an error of something like read data exeption and I tried to look for existing threads about it until I found the page where all sp flash tool errors show up. This showed a solution of updating the drivers, with a link provided to Mega. I downloaded it, installed, and restarted my PC to no avail.
I still get the
ERROR: STATUS_READ_DATA_EXCEPTION
What should I do next?

What's the phone's chipset and have you tried dumping the firmware using miracle box?

skip userdata and cache using the guide @ https://www.hovatek.com/forum/thread-22701.html
(11-01-2019, 10:28 PM)sherlockedprince I already did that, in fact, that is the first consideration that I made since I do not want to backup cache and data
