I mistakenly deleted some files with ES explorer then my facebook and messenger app just disappear from my phone menu (Itel P51), then I try to install the apps again from google store, but I keep getting this error "App Not Installed-The package conflicts with an existing package by the same name" so I went to settings-app to check if the app is there but nothing was there, please what is the way out. Am using an Itel P51 phone, Screenshot are attachmented below

This error means you still have remnants of those apps. You need to root the device then (using a root browser) navigate to /system/app , /system/vendor and /system/priv-app . Search for these apps or folders with their names and delete.
Reboot then retry installing them

(06-04-2018, 02:06 AM)Studio No I don't know

Do a factory reset (just incase there's any at the /data level) then retry.
BTW, did you find the facebook (messenger) files / folders in /system?

Where you able to get the problem solved? If not, I know a way to permanently solve this issue.

When installing a release version, you can't install a debug version. If you try, you will get the message you showed.

Maybe not a solution for you, but maybe for others with the same question.

Release: for the store
debug: for testing purposes only (developer)

In a debug version you can easily reengineer.

No, I didn't find any files in /system, but factory reset resolved everything. Thanks
