There are several issues that might arise after cross-flashing your LG device. One of them is this phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked<\/strong> like on the LG V60. This tends to happen when cross-flashing tampers with the EFS partition (like when attempting a network unlock) . Some cross-flashes or downgrades might even result in the device getting stuck at EDL (qhsusb_bulk or qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this guide, I’ll be using the LG V60 T-mobile (LMV600TM) as an example. You’ll have to get relevant files for your model if different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Backup First<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

First off, you need to backup your device’s current firmware (at least modem_a, modem_b, FSC, FSG, modemst1 & modemst2). A backup is always a good idea regardless of the condition of the device because you never know what part of your backup might come in handy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you can’t get a box or dongle which supports your model then consider using QFIL to dump each partition<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flash A Dump From A Working Phone <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For the LG V60, download this firmware dump<\/a> and this firehose<\/a> then flash using QFIL<\/a>. If you encounter Sahara Fail error then try these fixes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After flashing, flash these LG V60 fsg, fsc, modem and modemst files<\/a> to their respective partition using this QFIL guide<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMPL 0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At this point, you should be able to write IMEI via the LG hidden menu<\/a>, Navigate to SVC Menu > MID Info and you can re-write your IMEI and Serial Number (CSN). You can also write your NT Code if you have an NT Code warning<\/a> on boot.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
