This causes a timeout error when viewing your messages from the dashboard because it just spins as the SMS keeps loading. The problem then becomes that you can&#8217;t even access your inbox let alone free up space by deleting some messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Will resetting the MiFi work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From my experience with this issue, resetting the MiFi (using the reset button or pinhole) doesn&#8217;t clear the entire inbox. You need to use an app called <strong>ZTE Link<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To fix the SMS inbox timeout on your ZTE MiFi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Install ZTE link from<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.zte.android.ztelink&amp;hl=en&amp;gl=US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Google Play<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/ztelink\/id1001023964\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apple Store<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/apkpure.com\/ztelink\/com.zte.android.ztelink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">APK Pure<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect to your MiFi via WLAN \/ Wi-Fi \/ Wireless<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Launch the app and grant it the requested permissions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On the ZTE Link home screen, tap the menu icon at the top-left corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap Login<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Input your MiFi dashboard&#8217;s password<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once logged in, tap the message icon at the top-right corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap the trash icon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select all or the messages you wish to delete<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap the trash icon again to delete the selected messages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You should once again be able to access your SMSs from the MiFi&#8217;s dashboard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note: The iOS version of this app might be buggy so use the Android version if you have trouble deleting the SMSs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"youtubewrapper\">\n<div class=\"youtube lazy-loaded-video\" data-embed=\"H2lJ94oa26Y\">\n<div class=\"play-button\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Leaving your ZTE MiFi inbox unpruned can lead to reaching your inbox threshold.
